Here you can practice your English listening and reading skills, as well as vocabulary and grammar, while learning about interesting topics in fun and entertaining self-assessed quizzes. Most quizzes feature real, authentic texts or recordings from the English-speaking world, are based on the popular BBC 6-Minute English podcast or are adapted from actual exam tasks. This ensures that you will be practising exactly what you need to make your way in English, whether you're planning to take an exam, looking forward to visiting an English-speaking country or studying English for work. All quizzes also include extensive vocabulary work to help you expand your vocabulary. You will focus on topic-specific expressions, as well as phrases and collocations that can be tricky for learners of English. Some quizzes for registered users also include short writing tasks. If you are signed up for one of my English courses or if you are a registered user, you will receive individual feedback on your written work.
